Cambie Dress Obsessed
Oh I do love the Sewaholic Cambie* dress. But then, you’ll know that if you’ve been reading for a while. It took me a little longer than most to discover this pattern, but I’m hooked. I’ve made three before. The first two are blogged here and here. I thought I’d blogged the third, but I can’t seem to find it.
The first thing I made for The Fabric Fox Creatives was a wrap dress using Cotton+Steel unbleached fabric. It was so nice to work with, and wear, that I had to get some more. So, for my second project for The Fabric Fox I chose a gorgeous teal unbleached cotton with a bright geometric print on.
In The Pink
I always say that I don’t like pink, but I don’t think that’s strictly true. I do like cerise and as that’s the colour that stood out the most to me on the pattern, I chose cerise pink cotton for the lining. One of my favourite pairs of shoes is a very similar shade of cerise, so I thought they’d be the perfect choice to go with the finished Cambie.
I’ve written about sewing this dress and taken some photos which you can find over at The Fabric Fox blog.
